"This illustration, such as the cosmos, organized and structured, is a symbolic exploration. In the center, an antique vase which could be seen as the receptacle of the universe. The solar face in the middle, ornamented with the Yin and the Yang, symbolises the universal balance. The phases of the moon, arranged in a circle, remind of the eternal cycle of time. The surrounding geometric designs, braided and intertwined, suggest the idea of a cosmic web where each element is linked to a broader all. This illustration plays on duality: from afar, it’s a classic etching evocating of the ancient times; from close, contemporary symbols arise, mixing tradition and modernity."
