In 2013, we packed up our belongings, and left behind the growing city of Seattle, in search of a small town where the moon lights up the night sky. We landed in Ketchum, Idaho, where the town’s motto is ‘Small town, big life.’ It is a place where neighbors help each other out, and when you see a passerby, the first question, “How was your day”, provokes tales of the day’s adventures.
Independent Goods is founded on our love for a great story, and those moments when a connection is found when you least expect it.
Independent Goods is about the search for products that connect you, me, a friend or a stranger, to a story. It is about the incredible products by Indie Makers who take on craft with a passion and often a risk of following their dreams.
Our promise in the goods we sell is to ensure they are made by Independent Makers. The makers we showcase do everything in their power to source from their country of their origin. And we do our darn best to tell the story of the maker and celebrate their craft.
Please come visit us at our brick and mortar store on Walnut Avenue, and enjoy this little town we call home.
Thanks for joining us in celebrating the Independent Maker.
