Born and raised in Odense, Denmark, Chocolatier Fritz Knipschildt worked in France and Spain before coming to America in 1997. Bringing his knowledge of European Chocolates, he founded Knipschildt Chocolatier in 1999 out of his small apartment in Connecticut. His philosophy rests on his desire to constantly improve the confectionary experience by providing customers with the highest value imaginable. Each preeminent, artisan chocolate is handmade, hand-painted and hand packed. Combining exquisite old European craftsmanship, Fritz creates intriguing avant-garde flavor combinations with handpicked natural ingredients to create artistic chocolate pieces.
