- About artist Rommy González , a Chilean artist who decided to highlight the mycelium and the mushrooms it produces. Her drawings were transcribed onto the charm handle of the knife using the sublimation method. The 8.5 cm blade is made of stainless steel
- About artist Perrine Honoré, a French illustrator and muralist, has decided to explore a synthetic, colourful and naive language halfway between the abstract and the figurative. Different natural elements appear on the handle of the knife so that everyone can interpret them in their own way.
- About artist MioSHe, or Antoine Martinet, a French artist who draws and paints on the wall and canvas the relationship between humans, the urban, nature and space created a silhouette that brings to mind "Vrikshasana", the yogic tree pose. Based loosely on Selene, goddess of the full moon, or perhaps Demeter goddess of agriculture and harvests, the strength of her posture transforms her into a fruit tree.

Boxwood comes from French and European forests. It is a dense, hard wood, with a very fine grain. Its color varies from ivory to yellow. - This Knife features the Virobloc Safety rings. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety while in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety on the go).

Founded in 1890
The Opinel No. 8 knife was invented by namesake Joseph Opinel at the age of 18. This first design was the foundation for the wide range of knives made today. The company continues to be run by the Opinel family, and the knives have won prestigious awards like the 1985 Victoria and Albert Museum for the best-designed items in the world alongside the Porsche 911 and the Rolex watch. The knives have been used by Pablo Picasso and famed chefs from around the World like Paul Bocuse. Each knife is made with sustainable materials and continue to be made in the French Alp town of Savoie.
