• About the design: Eames Playing Cards pays homage to the iconic Hang-It-All wall rack with bold lines, colorful interconnected circles, and a nostalgic color palette. Each deck is imbued with Charles and Ray’s playfulness and philosophy of finding unexpected joy in everyday experiences and objects. The cards forego traditional playing card symbology with a simplified numbering system featuring whimsical spherical pips on all 52 cards. This creative decision, and the inclusion of two minimalist Eames Office Sunburst “jokers,” provide the unique experience of defying the gravity of expectations to embrace the Eamesean spirit of exploration.
