Founder Angela Liguori earliest childhood memories are of her mother sitting at a sewing machine making dresses with Saint Peter’s Basilica in the background.  Growing up in Rome, Italy, Angela, at an early age, through her dressmaker mother, observed and retained a love for products made with an attention to detail that is part of her products design and vision for her brand Studio Carta. Now residing in the US, Angela conceptualizes and designs heirloom quality, custom products made exclusively in Italy. Studio Carta’s products use materials and practices that date back to the 19th century, and have won multiple design awards.
