Maker's Story

Sant Jordi Desvalls, Spain
Founded in 2012
North of Barcelona in a Catalan town of 700 people, Josep Motas (ceramist) and Irina Grosu (artist) design and produce tiles using traditional materials and methods. Their designs reflect their main interests in mathematical designs (modular objects to patterns) to mural art and ceramics. The mix of interests results in ingenious prints. Their designs have caught the eye and have been showcased in museums and multiple publications around the world. The incredible design is coupled by the fact that each tile is individually silkscreened by hand, making each uniquely yours by Josep & Irina.
