General Knot is the brainchild of Ann and Andrew Payne who spent most of their careers working as design executives for companies such as Ralph Lauren, Levis, and Tommy Hilfiger. At General Knot, they utilize vintage fabrics to create uniquely designed and enduring products that stand the test of time. The handmade products are made in limited quantities and are never repeated. They combine their passion for design with an unyielding commitment to bring conscientious quality manufacturing back to the US.
