Founded in 2021
Matt Vollmer is only in his twenties, but his form, functionality, and original pottery designs would make one think he is much older than his years.  His first experience at the wheel was in high school, after finishing his B.S. in Multi-Disciplinary Design his has now turned to pottery fulltime, making, teaching and creating custom designs. Each clay body used to craft these ceramic vessels is iterated upon until there remains a mixture that stands out apart from its glaze. Each piece is minimally glazed, and as the iteration process continues new clay bodies will become available. His goal with each piece is to design functional pottery to better the experience of its daily use. Each piece is handcrafted by Matt in his studio.
