Roadbars

Founded in 2016
After many years of working in sustainable agriculture, Christina starting looking for a new way to connect people to local and seasonal ingredients in Idaho. She first launched Roadbars in a renovated 1960 Kensill trailer as a mobile bar – serving local and private events through her creative cocktails and mocktails inspired by local ingredients. In 2020, Roadbars syrup and shrub mixers was launched to continue her mission to help support local farmers, and inspire creative mixology through the farm fresh ingredients found in Idaho and beyond. When Christina is not serving up beverages, you’ll likely find her at a local farm dreaming up and testing her next mixer.
Recipes
Strawberry Hibiscus Sour
2 oz bourbon or tequila
1 oz Strawberry Hibiscus Shrub
.75 oz lemon juice or lime juice
1 egg white
Add bourbon or tequila, lemon juice or lime juice, strawberry hibiscus shrub and egg white to a shaker. Dry shake. Fill shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass.
Roadbars' twist on this classic Brazilian drink
2 oz Cachaça
3 lime wedges
1 oz Strawberry Hibiscus Shrub
Muddle lime wedges and strawberry hibiscus shrub in a shaker. Add ice and cachaça. Shake until chilled. Pour into a glass. Add more ice if need and a splash of soda water. Garnish with a lime wedge and strawberry slice.
