Maker's StoryJameson Woodworks
Belton, South Carolina
Founded in 2008
For centuries, people have been handcrafting toys out of wood. In 2008, founder Gene Jameson wanted to give his seven-year-old son JJ an interactive gift they could assemble together. The first generation wooden knife kit was made and eventually Jameson Woodworks was created. Today the kits have expanded to include ocarina (an ancient woodwind instrument) and animal kits. The kits are a fun learning experience for children and adults alike. Each kit is proudly made in the US.
