Lara has always imagined a simpler world. One in which things are handmade utilizing old world, classic techniques. And this is the foundation for her work.  Her leather craftwork utilizes classic western leather techniques, 100% US sourced leather, with the design goal to transform the icons of western frontier life into modern functional heirlooms.  Lara singlehandedly makes each piece on an ancient apple orchard where she and her partner are working toward creating a self-sufficient homestead.
